Route 66 Lemons Rally: New Dates – October 26-31!

Due to COVID-19, the June 16-21 Lemons Route 66 Rally has been RESCHEDULED to October 26-31. All registered teams automatically carry over to the new event date, so if you’d like to run the Lemons Route 66 Rally on the new date, you don’t need to do anything else now. We were really close to giving it the green light, but there were just a couple of questions we couldn’t get answered far enough ahead of time to feel comfortable sending you down the Mother Road.

We realize this situation is tough for everyone, so all paid participants who still make it in October will receive an IN IT FOR THE LONG HAUL patch and sticker. It’ll let everyone know you played a big part in keeping the Lemons nightmare/dream going.

To fit into the rest of our schedule, we put it right where the 2018 Route 66 Rally was in the last week of October. That means we’ll roll into Santa Monica on Halloween…with a full moon. Can’t think of a better end to a rally. Here is the full itinerary:

Monday, October 26: Chicago to St. Louis
Tuesday, October 27: St. Louis to Tulsa
Wednesday, October 28: Tulsa to Amarillo
Thursday, October 29: Amarillo to Gallup (NM)
Friday, October 30: Gallup to Laughlin (NV)
Saturday, October 31: Laughlin to Santa Monica

24 Hours of Lemons

If You Have Paid for the Route 66 Rally and…

(1) …October 26-31 still works for your team, no need to do anything else. Your payment will still apply to the new date and we’ll send you the COVID LONG HAUL patch.

(2) …you want to run a different rally or to apply the money to a different event, send an email to eric@24hoursoflemons.com. We’ll send you the COVID LONG HAUL patch.

(3) …you want a refund, just send an email to eric@24hoursoflemons.com.

If you have not paid for the Route 66 Rally

…then you’re not out anything yet. You can still pay closer to the October date, you can withdraw from the event without cost, and/or you can register for another event.

As of right now, we still plan to hold the Rocky Mountain Breakdown (July 10-12), Hell On Wheels Monterey (August 11-15), and Fall Fail-iage Tour (October 15-17). We will have to make some adjustments to the rally procedures for these COVID conditions and will let you know what that looks like in the coming weeks.

Take care of yourselves until we can see you again! Be sure to check out the video wrapup of our last Lemons Rally, the 2020 Retreat From Moscow Rally.

Best regards,
Eric Rood & Lemons HQ
