LIGHTING
-All car numbers must be illuminated.
-Other identifying / unique lighting is encouraged.
-On level ground from 25 feet away, forward-facing lights must have a hard cutoff at 40" or less above groundThis requirement will be tested onsite.
-A 40" cutoff is extremely hard to achieve with lightbars. We strongly recommend individually lensed lighting instead.
-No forward-facing light may be higher than the car’s OE headlights (as delivered new).
-Use only enough lighting to see clearly! Overly bright / dazzling lighting is hard on other drivers and will get you black-flagged.
-Reports of atypically dazzling lights should be taken directly to race control in the tower. Community policing is strongly encouraged!
-This is a night race on an unlit track. Each team must provide its own illumination. The hot pits/fueling area is lit and there is also lighting in the carports. The rest of the paddock is unlit.
-During daylight hours, forward lights may be removed.
-Lights, mounts, switches, wiring, etc. DO NOT count towards the $500 total.
-From dusk to dawn, all cars must have at least two working headlights, one working taillight, one working brake light, and all numbers illuminated.
