LIGHTING
•This is a night race on an unlit track. Each team must provide its own illumination. The hot pits/fueling area is lit and there is also lighting in the carports. The rest of the paddock is unlit.
•While good-quality, properly aimed OE headlights are generally up to this task, aftermarket lights are legal. DON'T OVERTHINK IT: A small number of high-quality, properly mounted, correctly aimed headlights or driving lights is much more effective than a large number of crappy add-ons. Trophy-truck-style unfocused LED floodlight bars are really likely to get you black flagged.
•During daylight hours, forward lights may be removed.
•Lights, mounts, switches, wiring, etc. DO NOT count towards the $500 total.
•From dusk to dawn, all cars must have at least two working headlights, one working taillight, and one working brake light. Multifilament tail/brake lights are acceptable.
•The center of all lights must be no higher than 6" above the hoodline; roof-mounted lights are not allowed.
•There is no limit on number of lights. However, lights must not be unduly dazzling or distracting to others.
•If we deem your lights overly dazzling, too dim, badly aimed, or problematic in any other way, you will be black-flagged.
COVID RULES
•Maintain social distance
•Follow all regional health guidelines and directives
•Stay home if you have symptoms
•Contact Lemons or track officials immediately if you develop symptoms onsite
ARRIVAL/CHECK-IN
•All participants must be pre-registered.
•You must sign Lemons waiver before entering.
•Drivers must show a valid, current, unrestricted street license.
PARKING/PADDOCK/FACILITIES
•Except for reserved garages where offered, all parking is first-come first-served.
•Every team entry (ie, one racecar) gets 20x40 of paddock--keep it contained!
•Please don't bring extraneous crap into the paddock--park it remote.
•The timing tower is off limits; no civvy access.
BS/CAR TECH
•Your team's BS/Car Tech time will be assigned. A couple days before the race, assigned tech times will be sent via email and linked from the schedule above.
•Complete your tech sheet BEFORE coming to tech.
GEAR TECH
•Gear Tech is first-come first-served; show up whenever you like.
•Gear Tech locations vary--just look for the station near Tech or HQ.
•If needed, we can check stragglers during the race onesy-twosey. You might have to wait a bit, though.
•Wear your full safety gear, including head-and-neck restraint, to Gear Tech. (Helmet can be off.)
FUELING
•Fueling only in hot pits (or track's permanent pumps where provided).
•No fueling in paddock during the race.
•Everyone in fueling area must be in full safety gear.
•Registered drivers & crew only in fueling area--no spectators.
•No staging: Bring your supplies, fuel up, then take everything away again.
•No assigned or saved hot-pit spots.
•Don't park support vehicles near the fuel area.
•Kill switch off; no one in car; drip pan; dedicated extinguisher person are all mandatory while fueling.
•Only fueling, driver change, windshield cleaning, and cool-suit ice changes allowed in the hot pit. For everything else (tire pressure, fluid checks, engine swaps) go to the paddock.
•If using track pumps, no one can be in the car and kill switch must be off.
•If using track pumps, full gear recommended but not required.
•Using the track pumps means using the track pumps--your own fuel or jugs aren't allowed there.
YOKOHAMA TIRES
•Tell your BS judge if you're on Yokohamas--a set of new tires gets awarded to one Yokohama-shod car at each race!
•Want to run Yokohamas? See their handy guide to Lemons-ready tires.
Normal trash only in trash cans! Anything bigger than a brake rotor will incur fines--if it doesn't fit easily in the yellow can, take it with you!
