2023 Amelia Concours d’Lemons – Winners and Photos

The Concours d’Lemons sputtered onto the 1^st Fairway of the Amelia Island Golf Club on March 4, 2023, as part of Hagerty’s The Amelia event that included a high end concours, Cars and Community with Lemons and RadWood. Hoopties of every description from all over the southeast were subject to a drenching when a passing thunderstorm washed off years of carefully cultivated grime and added to the copious amounts of rust already on display. Owners were completely unphased by the deluge and had their bribes ready to sway the sightly damp celebrity judges when the sun broke through the clouds. There was no bribery needed to crown “Worst of Show”, Wayne Francis’s self-propelled porta pottie was hands down the crappiest car on the field. Bolted to a barstool go-kart frame the porta pottie laid on its side was not only #1 but also #2 with the judges.
