Updated 2019 Lemons Schedules

In typical fashion, we’ve strung along the 2019 season scheduling into the new year, but things are finally starting to shape up and (maybe) become final. That’s included an added 24 Hours of Lemons race, two race date changes, three new Lemons Rallies, a finalized 24 Hours of Lemons Australia date, and an added 24 Hours of Lemons New Zealand date. We’ll give you the rundown below.

Here are the changes made after the initial schedule release in October:

24 Hours of Lemons: We added the Pitt Maneuver at Pittsburgh International Race Complex in April.
24 Hours of Lemons: We moved Thunderhill’s Yokohama Five-Mile Tyre Fest in May back a week to May 24-25.
24 Hours of Lemons: That race addition also moved back the HooptieCon East date at New Jersey Motorsports Park, which is now June 8-9 with the race moving to NJMP’s Lightning track.
24 Hours of Lemons:We also just moved back the date one week to August 24-25 for Heartland Parked at Heartland Motorsports Park in Topeka, Kansas. This one puts us there with sprint cars on the facility’s oval that night, if you ya’ll wanna see some ridiculous Real Racing™.

Lemons Rally: We tacked on three brand-new rallies for 2019. The Florida Man Poker Run departs South Carolina and heads to Key West. Along the way, Rally participants will pick up a card or two each day to play a poker hand at the rally’s end.
Lemons Rally: The Four-Bangors Banger Rally runs July 4 week from Bangor, Michigan to Bangor, Maine.The “Four” part? The route will also cut through Bangor, New York and Bangor, Pennsylvania. This one also sends participants through Ontario, Canada.
Lemons Rally: The World Tour of Texas heads through the Lone Star State in November. Expect some exotic destinations while touring the expanses of nothing, which are bigger than the nothing in most places.

Concours d’Lemons: The car show for Lemons-caliber vehicles will depreciate Amelia Island on March 9, the same weekend as Cd’L at HooptieCon West. Crapcan shows on both coasts? It’s a momentous occasion.
Concours d’Lemons: The Adelaide, South Australia show got a date, September 28, because we aren’t content to keep our crap in one country.

24 Hours of Lemons Australia: Speaking of, the Aussie branch of the 24 Hours of Lemons is hoping to assemble the biggest race in the world at The Bend Motorsports Park in South Australia. That race didn’t have a date until recently; it will be October 10-13.
24 Hours of Lemons New Zealand: The Kiwis also tacked on a February race at Bruce McLaren Motorsports Park in Taupo. We’re sure Bruce would be ecstatic.
